10 Upcoming Comic Book Movie Decisions That Have Already Angered Fans

9. And A Gambit Spin-Off Film

The other big bombshell with regards to X-Men: Apocalypse is that the new cast would include Channing Tatum as Gambit, arguably the worst mutant in the comic book's history, who would be picking up where Taylor Kitsch left off in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Or probably just totally ignoring that film. Everyone else does. Not only that, but following his performance as the Louisiana pick-up-artist-cum-superhero, Tatum would be appearing as Gambit in a solo film in the same year as Apocalypse. Which both seems like its gumming the schedule a bit, and is an odd choice. Gambit? Really? He has his fans, but he's definitely not up there with Wolverine, the only other X-Man to be blessed with his own headlining spin-off. They're clearly going to be trading on Tatum's star power, but you can't help but thing that could've been put to better use.
