9. The Rhino - The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Granted, the on-set pictures we've seen of The Rhino so far have ranged from the promising - as above - to the down-right ludicrous - namely that image showing Paul Giamatti donning a bizarre cardboard contraption which will presumably be used as references for the visual effects team - but if you cast an acting lion of Giamatti's caliber in your movie, you're definitely doing something right. Even if the script sucks and the visual effects underwhelm, the man is going to give you as credible and entertaining a performance as you're going to get about a gangster who has a polymer suit bound to his skin, making him super-strong. The Rhino is a fan favourite villain though also one of Spider-Man's goofier, dumber villains, so it makes sense that he's only taking half the load alongside Jamie Foxx's Electro - who we'll get to in a minute - though hopefully director Marc Webb will avoid the problems Sam Raimi encountered by pitting Spidey against multiple bad guys...
