10 Upcoming Comic Book Movies That Have Nothing To Do With Marvel Or DC
4. MIND MGMT
A visual feast of a conspiracy tale, Matt Kindt's MIND MGMT has been crying out for a movie adaptation ever since its first issue (which sold out and had to be reprinted). And indeed, a film has been in preproduction since January of 2013, a scant eight months after that issue hit the stands. You can't blame 20th Century Fox for wanting to move fast on it especially once Ridley Scott got involved. The influential director of Alien and Blade Runner is on board in a producing capacity, along with Dark Horse's Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg. Kindt is attached as a consultant, claiming in the interim that Scott and screenwriter David J Kelly have a good take on it. Kindt also said he wouldn't mind if it wasn't the most faithful adaptation, but they'd be fools not to take up this premise: a true crime writer accidentally uncovers a covert espionage network of psychic super spies whilst investigating a plane where every passenger suffered sudden and inexplicable amnesia the culprit being a rogue agent from the titular agency bent on bringing it down.
