10 Upcoming Disney Movies You Won't Want To Miss

3. The Jungle Book

The tendency for major studios to churn out remakes of popular movies to earn a quick buck is hardly a new one, nor it is one which Disney isn't also guilty of. At first, the idea of a live action remake of one of their most popular films of all time, The Jungle Book, sounds like an awful idea that should've been shelved immediately. There's a chance it won't compare to their previous animated version, but a glance at the cast and crew certainly gives cause for optimism. Director Jon Favreau's background mix of offbeat comedy and big blockbusters (having directed the first two Iron Man movies) combined with voice acting work from Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley and other heavyweights all point to a solid movie in the making. Given that the real source material for The Jungle Book is Rudyard Kipling's children's book there's also plenty of scope for Disney's latest outing to deviate slightly from their previous film. It could be more refreshing than you might expect.
