Quentin Tarantino has repeatedly stated that his upcoming tenth film will be his last, though as of last year he confessed he still had "no idea" what that movie would actually be.

Perhaps the single most suggested project for Tarantino's cinematic bow, however, has been a third entry into the Kill Bill franchise.

Ever since Kill Bill Volume 2 came out in 2004, Tarantino has pondered the prospect of a threequel, presumably in which The Bride (Uma Thurman) faces off against Nikki Bell, the daughter of Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox) who she slayed in Volume 1.

It'd be nothing if not an organic threequel: a Western set 20 years later in which an adult Nikki fights both The Bride and her daughter B.B. Fans have even suggested Zendaya and Maya Hawke to play Nikki and B.B. respectively - a rare pair of fan-castings that actually make total sense.

Last year, Tarantino mused that Kill Bill 3 could very well be his final film, while also hinting his last movie would be "more of an autumnal epilogue," which isn't exactly a million miles away from the third entry into a revenge saga.

It's certainly possible that Tarantino will decide to produce something entirely new for his final cinematic offering, but given the prevailing affection for the Kill Bill movies, it'd be one hell of a way to place a cap on his entire career.
