10 Upcoming Movie Adaptations That Prove There Is No God

9. The Jetsons

Another movie adaptation which appears to be hitting the screens two decades too late, Hanna-Barbera's classic cartoon originally aired in the 1960s, although regular television slots since have meant that younger audiences may still be familiar with it. Having already been made into a feature-length animated movie in 1990, this futuristic tale of the titular family living in Orbit City has been on the cards for a big screen adaptation for a couple of years, with Robert Rodriguez lined up to helm the production. Shifting over to live action, while Rodriguez has shown himself capable of reasonably entertaining kids' movies with the Sky Kids series, news that Kanye West is rumoured to be the film's creative director has left many scratching their heads in puzzlement. Anyone who recalls the live action big screen version of The Flintstones is likely to greet the news of a Jetsons movie with a groan rather than a cheer - time will tell which reaction is the most justified.
