10 Upcoming Movie Reboots That Might Actually Work

9. Dungeons And Dragons

In 2000 the first Dungeons and Dragons film was released, later two straight to DVD sequels were released. Even if you're a raccoon who literally loves garbage, these films might be too trash for you.

The talk of a reboot first started in 2013 and was followed by a lawsuit involving Hasbro, Sweetpea Entertainment, Warner Bros. and Universal Pictures over who really owned the rights. Six years later, no one would judge you for feeling doubtful of the merits of rebooting a poorly received series based on an RPG world.

Why It Might Work:

Now in the hands of Paramount Pictures, there hasn't been much news about plot, there are a lot of directions this could go. BUT the benefit of the last films doing so poorly is that the bar is incredibly low.

Almost any fun, fantasy adventure movie that celebrates the game could win fans over. With a clear example of what not to do, here's hoping for a half-way decent reboot.

West loves pop culture, movies, comics and TV-shows just as much as you do. Probably. Since you're reading this. Also, she has a cat. He's pretty awesome.
