Home Alone is a classic. It's a film that everyone puts on at Christmas time and that everyone holds very fond memories of. It's Macaulay Culkin's legacy!

You would have thought that all the sequels that came after did enough damage to the original's legacy, with one coming out as late as 2012, but nope! That horse hasn't been beaten enough, we need to get all the glue we can out of its husk, so along comes this Disney+ original, Home Sweet Home Alone.

Likely following the original premise to the letter, a young troublemaker gets accidentally left at home when he family goes on holiday, enjoys his time alone but must defend the house with wacky traps when burglars try to break in. Likely to be a similar formula to the remakes of their animated features, exact same story with all the heart removed.

People were angry when the trailer dropped racking up thousands of dislikes within minutes. Just imagine the reaction when the film itself drops! But everyone will probably see it anyway because... Christmas, I guess.
