10 Upcoming Movie Sequels That Are Only Going To Disappoint You

6. Jurassic World: Dominion

Jurassic Park is one of the many franchises that have been around for decades, and yet never managed to improve upon the first movie. Jurassic World and sequel Fallen Kingdom may have both earned over a billion dollars each, but it was clear that the brains behind the operation were starting to run out of ideas.

Fallen Kingdom in particular made the baffling decision to set the majority of the action at an old rich guy's house and bring human cloning into the mix, with the end result battling with Jurassic Park III for the title of worst installment yet. Upcoming sixth entry Dominion looks to double down on nostalgia in an effort to recapture former glories, with Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum all set to reprise their roles from the first trilogy.

We've seen what happens when the park is open, we've seen the entire island be destroyed, and for the umpteenth time we've seen the results of greedy capitalists trying to cash in on scientific breakthroughs and getting eaten for their troubles. Dominion will earn a ton of money, that's for sure, but the quality of the Jurassic World movies so far hardly inspires a great deal of confidence that the returning Colin Trevorrow is going to knock this one out of the park.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
