10 Upcoming Movie Sequels We Can't Wait To See

9. Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

With director Rian Johnson coming off the back of a Star Wars stint that wasn't exactly well received across the board, and Daniel Craig finally coming toward the end of his work as James Bond, the two came together to bring the world Benoit Blanc in 2019.

Knives Out was an outstanding whodunnit and immediately established Craig's sleuth as an iconic character, something that was carried forward to Glass Onion three years later. Though the second mystery may not have been quite as compelling as the first, both the standards and expectations for this franchise are sky-high.

Blanc has so far been surrounded by two insane ensemble casts, and things will be no different for his next appearance in Wake Up Dead Man. Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, and more will join Daniel Craig in the role he appears to be revelling in playing.

The threequel is set to release on Netflix, as Glass Onion did, in 2025, although Daniel Craig has stated that he would like to see it receive more than a single week in cinemas as its predecessor did. There will surely be enough OMG moments in this film to make giving it a proper theatrical run a no-brainer, right?
