8. Terminator: Genisys

It's getting a little lost in among the bigger movies of 2015 (and hampered by that title), but Terminator: Genisys will hit next year as a sort-of reboot of the series after Terminator Salvation halted the story of humanity's war with Skynet. Quite what the plot this time around entails is mostly unknown (and the Genysys subtitle doesn't help), although the fact that, on top of having Arnie back as a somehow-aged T-800, the characters of Sarah Connor, John Connor and Kyle Reese have been cast should suggest that there's going to be some pretty timey-wimey stuff going on. And that's why you should steer clear of those pesky spoilers. Termynator: Genysys, on top of hopefully having the action and machine menace we're used to, looks set to boast a plot that sees the series doing something new and different. There's no generic future fighting or simply retreated the previous film here. And, if the specifics are known before going in, it'll all come across as predictable rather than enjoyable.
