10 Upcoming Movies You Should Stop Reading Spoilers For Right Now

3. The Hateful Eight

The Hateful Eight very nearly didn't exist. Quentin Tarantino's follow-up to Django Unchained, another western, was shelved when the first draft of the script was leaked by the agents of a select group of actors. Clearly upset that his unfinished work had been shared around Hollywood, it looked set to enter the pantheons of intriguing, unrealised movies (see Guillermo Del Toro's At the Mountains of Madness). After giving the project another lease of life by having a live script-reading, it became clear to Quentin there was still an interest in the film and thus he shifting it back into production. The Hateful Eight we get next year, however, won't be exactly the same of the leaked script; although the general story's the same, the ending will be different. Tarantino clearly cares a lot about his film coming out without all its secrets having been expunged on the internet, so to go around trying to get every piece of info on the story you can is only going to lead to an experience the director didn't intend.
