10 Upcoming Movies That Have Already Pissed Everyone Off

Set to release in November, fans of the Charlies Angels series are skeptical, at best, of the new movie. Originally it was teased as a reboot but now is supposedly going to be a sequel to the older films starring Drew Barrymore (who is executive producing this one), Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz.

Aside from the vitriol that one would expect by casting Kristen Stewart as one of the lead characters, a lot of people are upset that Bosley has been made a woman. Though to be fair, the movie is totally changing the spectrum of things. In this CA world Angels are teams of female operatives, from all around the world, who answer to a 'station chief' of sorts, code named Bosley. Director Elizabeth Banks, as well as actors Djimon Honsou and Sir Patrick Stewart, all stand in as Bosley characters. Even though two out of the three Bosleys are still men, quite a number of folks seem upset that Banks cast herself, that is a woman, as one of the three.

Some are comparing it to the all-female Ghostbusters reboot and forecasting the whole film will just be feminist propaganda. Either way, even supporters seem a little worried that the movie comes out in only a few months and, even though filming ended in December of 2018, there still hasn't been a trailer released and the film's official website is just a logo with the ability to sign up for updates.
