2. Eddie Redmayne Hasn't A Clue About Fantastic Beasts' Future - Fantastic Beasts 4

Joining the likes of Lashana Lynch and Michael Keaton in not having the foggiest when or even if they're chosen beloved character will pop back up on the big-screen again, Eddie Redmayne's words not long after the latest instalment of the ill-fated Fantastic Beasts series don't exactly hint at a bright future for the franchise.

Despite being announced as a five-film series, the sheer amount of controversy sent the franchise's way and the first three flicks not exactly setting the world on fire have cast some serious doubt over whether a fourth entry will even head into production. It's even been reported that Warner Bros. Discovery were hesitant to commit to the final outings before seeing how Secrets of Dumbledore was ultimately received.

The threequel's unremarkable performance at the box office and critically may be the key reason why Redmayne is still yet to hear of what's next for Newt Scamander, with the Oscar-winning star recent telling IndieWire in response to a question over if he knew anything about the fourth film at present:

"I don’t. It’s more a question for J. K. Rowling and David Yates and Warners, but I don’t know, I’m afraid."

All in all, the signs don't look great for this less than Fantastic franchise...
