10 Upcoming Movies With TERRIBLE CGI

3. Cade: The Tortured Crossing

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
Neil Breen

Now in total fairness, the latest disasterpiece from the "great" Neil Breen has actually been screening around the world on a highly limited basis throughout 2023, but given that the majority of Breen's fans won't get to see it until it hits home video in the near-future, it merits inclusion here.

If you're unfamiliar with Breen, he's an independent filmmaker who produces his own self-starring low-budget dramas, often with a genre bent.

The low quality of said films - characterised by poor acting, writing, direction, and visual effects - has made Breen something of a cult figure online over the last decade-plus, as fans remain fascinated with his apparent earnest commitment to producing these tawdry pieces of work.

The trailer for Breen's new film, Cade: The Tortured Crossing, dropped at the end of last year and confirmed that the director will once again be wildly over-leveraging himself where production quality is concerned.

Rather than produce a more pared-down project suited to his low budgets, Breen will once more be using low-rent green screen tech to insert himself and his cast into locations he couldn't access during shooting.

The results are... not good, to be kind, but honestly, wouldn't you be a little disappointed if a Neil Breen movie actually had good CGI?
