2. Planes

Why It's Going To Fail: Audiences are going to assume that Planes is another Pixar film in the vein of Cars, and then be sorely disappointed when they find out that it was actually produced by DisneyToon Studios, and was initially constructed as a straight-to-video animated film. Though that strategy worked well for Toy Story 2, it's hard to imagine that the same narrative care is going into what appears to be this highly unimaginative film about a band of anthropomorphic planes. Though I suspect it will do well off the back of the Cars franchise, expect tragic reviews given how poorly Cars 2 was received, and
