10 Utterly Insane Movie Cameos

9. Steve Buscemi - Billy Madison

Steve Buscemi Billy Madison Steve Buscemi is one of those actors better known for his cameos and backing roles than for his centre stage appearances. His bug-eyed complexion hasn€™t always lent itself to a career as a Hollywood poster boy. It€™s only recently with the success of the television series Boardwalk Empire, that Buscemi has become the leading man his talent deserves. Of his numerous bit part characters, a large proportion have fallen under Adam Sandler€™s filmography of comedies. Big Daddy, The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, the list goes on. My personal favourite came in Sandler€™s semi-coming-of-age comedy €˜Billy Madison€™. In one scene, Sandler€™s Madison calls up all the people he had bullied years ago in high school, to offer an apology. One former classmate, Buscemi€™s Danny McGrath, responds casually back down the phone with, €˜yeh sure, don€™t worry about it€™. As he hangs up, Buscemi turns to a list of people on the wall entitled €˜PEOPLE TO KILL€™. He crosses Madison€™s name off, proceeds in applying red lipstick, and lies back on the couch with a satisfied grin, as the Electric Light Orchestra€™s €˜Telephone Lines€™ plays coolly in the background. MENTAL.
