2. Adamantium Bullets (Wolverine)
This was fairly amazing and inexplicable really. These bullets must have had magical properties. William Stryker the mutant-hating man who was largely responsible for Wolverine having an adamantium-laced skeleton in the first place wants to make Logan forget where and how he came to have the procedure done to save his own skin and, in order to do that, he opts to shoot Wolverine through the skull with a bullet made from that very same material (because nothing else on Earth would do the job). He did so and the bullet erased Wolverine's memories, but had absolutely no effect on his ability to speak. How very specific. So many issues can be raised from this like how adamantium is meant to be unbreakable and how there would be fragments of skull and adamantium still floating around in Wolverine's brain if it penetrated both layers. It just seemed so contrived that a bullet made of a specific material would have such a specific effect on Wolverine's mind but, there you have it, it did exactly that.
