1. Being Near Each Other (Hancock & Mary)
The titular Hancock and Mary were members of a species of ancient immortal superhumans who, during their time, came to be known as gods or angels. They possessed the ability to fly, superhuman strength, speed and durability and didn't age beyond a certain point - Hancock and Mary have lived for more than 3000 years and are descendants from the ancient world, having lived and impacted several civilizations like Persia and Greece. Their kind were created in pairs. However, when they were close to each other, they lost their super-powers, which meant that they could live together like ordinary humans, grow old together and later die together. Although, if the pair separate, they both keep their super-powers. While the two of them were living together in Miami (depowered), Hancock tried to stop a mugging and his skull was fractured, causing amnesia. Mary took him to a hospital and when he woke up he didn't recognise her - this made her realise that it was best if they separate, given that they were each other's weakness, and she left him. And there you have it; Ten very specific weaknesses suffered by movie characters. Which others can you think of? Feel free to let us know in the comments box below.
