10 VHS Tapes That Totally Lied To You

1. Zombie Nightmare (1987)

Masters Of The Universe
CBS

Jon Mikl Thor is the vocalist of a band named Thor (you may have heard them on an old compilation CD). He was also in some movies, including 'Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare' and this gem, 'Zombie Nightmare' - which boasts a soundtrack that features Motorhead, Girlschool, and of course Thor.

Thor stars (although he is absent for large portions of the film) as Tony Washington, a beefy young man accidentally run over and killed by the worst group of teens in movie history, who then drive away and show no remorse. Tony is resurrected as a vengeful zombie by a voodoo priestess who owes his mum a favour. Also starring a bored Adam West and a young Tia Carrere, ‘Zombie Nightmare’ earned the distinction of being featured on ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’, where it was torn to shreds by Mike and the bots.

The artwork for 'Zombie Nightmare' must have caused a lot of disappointment, and it is possible many people can trace the roots of their trust issues to this.
