2. Baron Zemo
Baron Zemo seems to be one of the most talked about villains with regard to who Daniel Brühl could be playing. The mantle of Baron Zemo has been used by two different characters - father and son - in the comic books. Heinrich fought Captain America in World War II and Helmut grew up hating Captain America, took up his fathers mantle, and went on to clash with the hero and his allies several times over the years. Helmut played a part in the Civil War storyline in the comics. Iron Man actually asked him to recruit villains to the pro-registration cause and it turned out that he had already starting doing so, having reformed. Perhaps that could be the role he takes in the live action Civil War, only to turn evil later - maybe, for example, working alongside a key Doctor Strange villain (as he never really clashed with Strange in the comics, so he wouldn't work as a main villain to the mystical hero) in a quest for power.
