7. Bane (Batman & Robin)
Between George Clooney's bat nipples and Arnie's ice puns, Batman & Robin didn't need to give the audience another reason to storm out of the theatre, but it provided one nonetheless with its portrayal of Bane.
This is the powerhouse who broke the Batman in DC Comics, a formidable bad guy who's physical strength is matched only by his own intellect, yet Joel Schumacher saw it fit to boil him down to little more than a bad parody.
Batman & Robin's Bane is the lowest common denominator and Schumacher's decision to relegate him to henchman felt like an attempt to troll the fans.
Gone was his intellect, replaced by monosyllabic grunts, and he was closer in design to a villain from an unmade Nacho Libre sequel than his comic book counterpart. That ridiculous Mexican wrestling mask! Ugh!
