It is of course inevitable that at some point down the line, The Joker will meet our new younger Dark Knight. Every Batman media often relies heavily on the clown prince of crime because they’re uncertain they won’t be able to get enough views if the Joker isn’t somehow involved.

Just look at the Arkham games, (Spoiler Alert) Joker dies at the end of Arkham City but is still present in the next two games of the series. This doesn’t mean however that we don’t think Joker should be in the films at all, we just hope they wait a bit. Make him the big villain at the end of the trilogy or something like that; using him too early is a waste.

When the time comes though, just use Nightcrawler as an audition tape for Jake Gyllenhaal as Joker, he transforms himself into a manipulative psychopath simply through his creeping voice and unnerving facial expressions.

Gyllenhaal has consistently proven himself as a masterfully talented actor, who can vary from an air headed art critic in Velvet Buzzsaw into a calculating technician in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

There's no better actor to play one of comics’ greatest villains and what’s more we believe that Gyllenhaal would give us something unique, rather than another Heath Ledger impression. We're looking at you, Leto.
