Admittedly, this one is a long shot. The original Injustice League was created by an interplanetary conqueror named Agamemno, and it included Lex Luthor, Penguin, Joker and Catwoman, as well as a host of other characters from DCs rogues gallery. More recently the Injustice League has been updated to being a group organised by Lex Luthor and the Joker, including Cheetah, Deathstroke, Gorilla Grodd and a multitude of other villains. Alternatively there is the Anti-Justice League, with a membership of Braniac, Clayface, Gorilla Grodd and Sinestro, as well as a handful of lesser DC villains. This would be an all out fight, and it would pit the Justice League against the combined terror of many of their biggest enemies. This sounds like it would make an epic film, right? Well it would be an action packed bonanza sure to please those who enjoyed Man of Steel, but it is unlikely to leave any room for character development and a deep story. In the comics this sort of battle plays out well, as characters can be included for one panel and then left out of the rest of the story. In the cinema this is unlikely to work as well, as audiences want to understand more about those involved. Sadly, the Injustice League will probably remain a pipe dream for comic book fans, although we may (eventually) see Lex Luthor and the Joker combine within the DC Cinematic Universe at some point (if we are really lucky.)
