10 Ways Avengers: Secret Wars Could Change The MCU Forever

8. New Teams Will Form

With the end of an era, with the potential end of an entire multiverse and with the deaths of however many heroes in Avengers: Secret Wars will come a whole new landscape in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is a chance for the dynamics to truly change.

A crossover of such enormous proportions as Secret Wars will throw heroes together you wouldn’t normally expect, and some of these may even start their own new teams. Not only were the likes of Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Reed Richards, and Spider-Man thrown together in the comics, a whole new Avengers team was formed off the back of the event.

This could be the catalyst for the formation of the likes of the New Avengers, the West Coast Avengers, the much anticipated Young Avengers, something more left field like the Midnight Suns, and even one of the most famous Marvel superteams not yet introduced to the MCU (though more on the X-Men later).

How about just a tweak to one of Marvel’s oldest teams, with the addition of the MCU’s newest hero? Though Secret Wars is almost certain to adapt the 2015 comic event rather than the 1984 version, there is no reason it couldn’t take at least some inspiration and bring the She-Hulk into the black and blue of Marvel’s First Family moving forward.
