The most desired outcome. The best thing about a shared universe Batman and Superman isn't seeing them trying to throttle one another (although that will be entertaining) - it's the formation of one of the best bromances in comic book history. Grumpy, brooding Batman dressed like Dracula; cheery, optimistic Superman, dressed like an American flag - the pair are an adorable odd couple. Seeing them bicker like an old married pair or siblings is so much more interesting than watching them throw each other through walls and trade blows to the mush. In order to get that precise chemistry, however, we'll have to hope for a change to Superman's behaviour of late - lovely as hunky, square-chinned Henry Cavill looks in the role, we're faced with a grumpy, brooding Supes meeting a grumpy, brooding Batman. Even Superman's costume is dingier than usual. Neither man looks as though they'll be very good at making friends. The Batman/Superman friendship is a great trope though. So, on whatever terms Batman and Superman leave Dawn Of Justice, the film had better end with a shot of them shaking hands, or else there are going to be riots.
