7. Make Thanos Get His Hands Dirty

Thanos, even in the comic books, has a habit of using others to do his dirty work for him; Mephisto, the Blood Brothers, Mangog and the Thanosi have all been utilised as his henchman, even if they didn't see it that way. So far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos appears to be the same kind of back-seat villain. He has, thus far, utilised the likes of Loki, the Other, the Chitauri, Ronan, Korath, Nebula and Gamora to his dirty work while he sits on his space throne and dishes out orders. He must be very powerful to be able to do this, but we are yet to see that power so he doesn't yet have the oomph behind him to be a believable threat to the combined might of the likes of Thor, Hulk and Iron Man. Therefore, he really needs to get his hands dirty and show what he's capable of physically. A single show of extreme power would be all it would take - perhaps he could vaporise someone who had previously been shown to be extremely durable. However it's done, he must show off his power soon so that we can see how truly awesome he is.
