8. Slap It With An R-Rating
R-rated heroism is all the rage at the minute, and we have the likes of Deadpool and Logan to thank for that, but an adult-themed Batman remains long overdue.
If there's ever a character who deserves this cinematic certificate it's the Dark Knight, a tortured soul who's never far away from that fine line between heroism and villainy.
And speaking of villainy in Gotham, the city is rife with everything from twisted psychopaths like the Joker and Mr Zsasz to all-out monstrosities straight out of a horror movie, such as Killer Croc, Manbat and Clayface.
No doubt an R-rating would help The Batman portray these characters in a bolder, more definitive way than before and pull no punches when it comes to fight scenes.
Batman doesn't hold back, so why should the movie?
