X-Men: Apocalypse: 10 Ways To Ensure It's The Best In The Series

8. Bring Back Nightcrawler & Other Fan Favorite Characters

We€™ve had an idea for some time that X-Men Apocalypse would be taking place sometime during the €˜80s but during an episode of The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith, writer/producer Simon Kinberg has revealed that the film will be set in the year 1983. With a specific year in place it€™s reasonable to assume that many of the younger versions of beloved characters could come into the fold. Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm and other classic characters would probably be enrolling in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters at the time. Let€™s hope they find a way to bring back our favorite teleporting mutant Nightcrawler as well. With the slate wiped clean, literally anybody could pop up. Plus it can give new actors an opportunity to portray the much-loved characters. Was anybody else never too impresses with Halle Berry as Storm?
