Many fans left Spider-Man: Homecoming trying to figure out who provided the velvety voice for Karen, the A.I. housed within Peter Parker's nifty new Spidey-suit.

As it turned out, it was none other than Jennifer Connelly, a surprising reveal given that such a minor voiceover role could've just as easily been given to any random jobbing actress rather than a major A-lister.

But it's extra amusing considering that Connelly is the real-life wife of Paul Bettany, who of course voiced Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) trusty A.I. J.A.R.V.I.S. and later played Vision in physical form.

In an interview, director Jon Watts even referred to Karen as "J.A.R.V.I.S.' wife."
