10 Weirdest Cameos In Spider-Man Movies

It doesn't get much more mind-blowing than this. Roughly half-way through Raimi's original Spider-Man, there's a cutesy montage of New Yorkers talking about the web-slinger, with a punk woman memorably quipping, "Guy with eight hands? Sounds hot."

Though you'd be forgiven for missing it, this tiny part is in fact played by Lucy Lawless, best known of course for playing the iconic lead role on Xena: Warrior Princess.

With her short hair, heavy makeup and generally out-there fashion sense, she couldn't look much different from Xena.

Lawless ended up doing the cameo as a favour to her husband Rob Tapert, who not only created Xena but has also been producing Sam Raimi's movies since the very start of his career.
