8. Norah Jones - "Ted"
Much of the humour in Seth McFarlanes Family Guy comes from abrupt, nonsensical digressions. The popular cartoon is absolutely bananas, so perhaps its not such a surprise that someone as random as Norah Jones appears in McFarlanes first theatrical film Ted. The folksy, easy-listening singer seems like the least likely person to appear in a film about a potty-mouthed teddy bear, and things get weirder when Jones (playing a fictional version of herself) starts chatting with Ted about a past sexual encounter. She tells him he was good for a guy with no penis. Ted blames Hasbro, and incorrectly assumes Jones is half-Muslim. McFarlane really knows how to weird us out. What on earth is Norah Jones doing in a movie about a talking teddy bear?
