10 Weirdly Hot Cartoon Characters You Secretly Had A Crush On
2. Li Shang - Mulan
Oh man, what's not to love about Li Shang? Most of the Disney menfolk are attractive in their own right, but in a delicate and feminine sort of way. Li Shang, on the other hand, is probably one of the most rugged and sensual male characters that Disney has ever come out with. He's the leader of an army, intelligent, dedicated, and loyal. To say nothing of his skill at hand-to-hand combat or the fact that he has the singing voice of Donny Osmond. Disney normally saves its fan service for the female characters, but someone certainly had a good time drawing Li Shang, who spends the majority of the film sans shirt (something that Yao, voiced by Harvey Fierstein, calls him out on). Innocent children's film or not, the moment that he sighs "We've got a long way to go," and starts into I'll Make a Man Out of You, that's it. It's over. Libidos were born, and it's all thanks to Li Shang. But the coolest part about Li Shang was that he wasn't perfect -- he could also be the most awkward human alive. Put him on the battlefield, and he's calm and collected. Put him in a situation where he's meeting his girlfriend's parents, and he turns into the gibbering idiot. We're with Mulan's grandmother, when she invites him to stay forever.
