10 Wolverine Stories We Would Love To See In The MCU
6. Alpha Flight

When Logan had his memories purged in Weapon X, he fled the facility in a panic. When he was discovered by James and Heather Hudson, Logan's mind had reverted to a feral state. The Hudsons nursed him back to health, allowing him to eventually regain his humanity.
Now, the Hudsons weren’t just an ordinary couple. They were government agents who worked for Department H; a Canadian organization led by superheroes. When the Hudsons realised Logan was a mutant, they assigned him to the superteam, Alpha Flight.
Adapting this story would be a great way to depict Logan in a superteam besides the X-Men. It would also showcase the Alpha Flight members – Sasquatch, Shaman, Vindicator, Snowbird, Guardian, Puck, Northstar, and Aurora. The team have been hinted at in Deadpool 2 and Agents of SHIELD but none of them have appeared in a single movie.
For the record, Alpha Flight isn't just “a Canadian version of the X-Men.” A lot of their tales are connected to Native American culture. Focusing on stories like this would be a nice way for the X-Men mythos to branch out and do something different rather than relying on the Good Mutants Versus Bad Mutants plots.
