10 Wolverine Stories We Would Love To See In The MCU

Any time Wolverine needs to locate criminals overseas, he usually ventures to Madripoor - a country populated and governed by thieves, mobsters, Hydra agents, and crime lords. To avoid being affiliated with the X-Men while infiltrating the region, Wolverine sports an eye patch and goes by the name, Patch.

Since he can't use his adamantium claws without giving away his identity, Wolverine relies on his detective skills to solve cases. Due to his superhuman smell, he can tell if a murderer is nearby or if someone is trying to sneak up on him.

So, why should Madripoor be incorporated into the MCU? Well, to avoid superhero films becoming formulaic, it's pivotal to mix up the genre. The Russo brothers directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier like a spy story rather than a superhero flick and it's considered among the best Marvel movies. Instead of watching Wolverine hack robots and evil mutants for the millionth time, it would be cool to see him in a detective saga, relying on his intellect rather than his claws.

But if Marvel Studios incorporate the Patch storyline, perhaps they could give Wolverine a better costume than an eyepatch. I mean... how does that fool anybody?!
