10 Wolverine Stories We Would Love To See In The MCU

3. Tracking Down The Other Weapons

Wolverine X-Force Puzzle Quest

In the story, Assault on Weapon Plus, a mysterious superhuman called Fantomex makes a startling revelation to Wolverine. The “X” in Weapon X isn’t a random letter. It is the Roman numeral for “10.” Logan was dubbed "Weapon X" because he was the tenth attempt to create a living weapon.

Wolverine managed to regain his humanity but many of the other Weapons were not so lucky. Fantomex and Wolverine decide to join forces and locate the Weapons, hoping to break them free from Weapon Plus' programming.

Adapting this story would be a great way for Wolverine to integrate himself into the MCU. For example, Weapon V was a group of soldiers who bonded with the Venom Symbiote. Weapon I, which was the first attempt to create a perfect soldier, was the one and only – Captain America.

I'm not saying we need to bring back Chris Evans or anything but it would be a nice way to show that Wolverine has been connected to the other Marvel characters for a long time, even if he hasn't appeared in the MCU yet.
