By the time Rouge One finishes its initial cinema run Felicity Jones will be, and I hope I'm not being too rhapsodic (look it up) here, the most sought after human being in cinema. Ergo; Felicity Jones should be the next Bond.

Jones is an absolutely sensational actress, as evidenced by... well, literally everything she's ever been in. Her role in A Theory of Everything not only earned an Oscar nomination, but cemented her as one of the hottest acting properties in Hollywood last year. There were even plans for her in a superhero capacity, with her small part as Felicia Hardy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 a tease for an eventual role as the infamous Black Cat.

Rogue One will be where it all comes together though, and the aftermath of that will see her given her pick of any single script in Hollywood. Dramas, thrillers, action, comedy, whatever Felicity Jones wants to do, producers will be falling over themselves to let her. To be honest, MGM will look stupid if they don't offer her the part.

She's got the action credentials to make light work of being 007, and she's got the drier-than-a-martini-made-of-sand British delivery really required to carry Bond as yet another captivating screen presence.
