2. Hannibal Lecter
"You know what you look like to me, with your good bag and your cheap shoes? You look like a rube. A well-scrubbed, hustling rube with a little taste." Hannibal Lecter is a very complex character. Through the 5 movies that explore the character you slowly manage to understand him a little bit, but not completely. At first he looked like a normal person, a man who you would like to become a friend with. One of the specialists in the area of psychology, Lecter looked like a normal guy who lived a great life. However, deep inside his mind, a monster lived inside his twisted mind. Antony Hopkins gives a very big presence in every scene he that involves him, and to be fair Gaspard Ulliel and Brian Cox both did great performances as the character as well (kudos for Ulliel, who had the pressure of knowing that he will immediately be compared to Hopkins, and yet he managed to give one hell of a performance) So, it doesn't matter who's playing Hannibal, he is, and will always be one of the greatest Insane characters ever to be shown in a film.
