10 Worst CGI Moments In MCU History

7. Thor Vs. HYDRA (Avengers: Age Of Ultron)

The second coming together of the Avengers in 2015 kicked off with one of the strongest opening scenes in the history of the MCU. Though it took until the third act for them to fully come together three years prior, all six members of the team were on the same page in Sokovia immediately.

As the camera panned through Earth’s Mightiest Heroes fighting off Baron von Strucker’s henchmen, with motorcycles, arrows, Iron Man suits and Hulks, audiences were in awe. However, there was one part of the fight that wasn’t on the same level as the rest of it.

As Thor landed on top of one of HYDRA’s watchtowers, he took out five men by simply punching and kicking them through the air. This wasn’t great to begin with, but when he landed on the ground he took out another three with a metal girder.

This looked extremely wooden, and there was a clear disconnect between the character and those he was fighting. It didn’t even seem like he was anywhere near hitting his adversaries before they were sent flying by the God of Thunder.
