If Wilfred James could make it onto this list for forcing his son to participate in one murder, then this guy is an absolute shoo-in. Not only did he force his youngsters to provide a hand in murder and dismemberment, but he made them do it again and again. Strong arming your kids into becoming serial killers with you? Wow, even Austin Powers' Dr Evil never went that far.

Frailty is a hidden horror gem directed by the late great Bill Paxton. Paxton also takes on the part of Dad, the terrifying baddie of this flick. This twisted man is convinced that God had given him and his sons the quest of killing demons who are disguised as humans, leading him to kidnap and murder unsuspecting folks.

Part of what makes the character so compelling is that he's not your typical psychopathic killer. He's a devoutly religious man who performs these deeds out of a sense of justice and duty, which only makes him scarier.

Naturally, the film has some thrilling twists and turns, none of which will be spoiled here. Still, no matter the case, it's safe to say you wouldn't want to see this dad carving the turkey at Christmas dinner.
