10 Worst Decisions Hollywood Has Made In 2016 (So Far)

8. Batman: The Killing Joke Gets Animated On The Cheap

Fans were hyped when it was finally confirmed last year that an animated film adaptation of Batman: The Killing Joke was in the works. It's easily one of the most beloved Batman comics ever made, and should translate to a terrific cinematic experience, especially as Warner granted it a much-needed R-rating.

The key word here is "should", but fans the world over were left thoroughly underwhelmed when the first trailer dropped, which showed off some incredibly sub-par animation.

Is this the price that has to be paid for the movie to be R-rated? Most fans will probably still be there day one to check it out for themselves, but it's safe to say that expectations are pretty middling for the end product.
