10 Worst Foods In Film That Will Put You Off Eating Forever

4. Soylent Red, Green And Yellow - Soylent Green (1973)

Soylent Green is a gritty and claustrophobic take on a futuristic America. Charlton Heston stars as a detective wandering through New York City, now bursting at the seams with a population of over 40 million impoverished and ravenous people. The only choices of food €˜stuff€™ is an oddly luminescent jelly that comes in the three flavours of red, green and yellow. If you€™ve heard anything about this film, you probably know the denouement at the end (if not, you€™re in for a delightfully ugly twist). No matter how many times you return to the film, when the camera pans into Heston€™s face and the grim realisation floods over his wide eyes, there€™s still a shuddering chill that travels down your spine and into your stomach. Lovers of Turkish Delight beware.
