10 Worst Horror Movie One-Liners

3. “Do your thing, cuz!” - Heather Miller, Texas Chainsaw 3D

Texas Chainsaw 3D was never going to turn out well. I can’t think of a single seventh installment of a slasher franchise that was good, save for perhaps Halloween H20 or Wes Craven's New Nightmare.

So the least the filmmakers could do is make it entertaining, right? And, for my money, they did. Kind of. The 2013 reboot was one example of the trend of movie studios remaking classic slasher movies in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s. It came after 2007’s Halloween remake, 2009’s Friday the 13th re-imagining and the 2010 A Nightmare on Elm Street redo.

The film, along with making the ludicrous decision to have Leatherface come across as some kind of edgy anti-hero, concludes the story with Alexandra Daddario’s character Heather (having discovered that she is actually cousins with the cannibalistic killer) joining forces with Leatherface, at which point she tosses the hulking slaughterer his chainsaw and tells him to “Do your thing, cuz!”

The line was clearly meant to play into the edgy, morally dubious anti-hero theme of the movie, yet the nonsensical circumstances under which it was delivered and the corny delivery from Daddario make it downright hilarious.
