10 Worst Horror Movies Of 2018
3. Day Of The Dead: Bloodline
Zombie films are apparently still a thing, as Day of the Dead: Bloodline proves in all its campy glory. And by campy glory, I really mean unfathomable mess, a homage to the late Romero that really doesn't hold a candle to its namesake.
Running zombies, and probably those with the sensory skills to be able to catch people off motorbikes, are a point of contention, and considering that Romero coined the original shufflers and made his brand on that type of zombification it seems strange to not include their characteristics.
Apart from that though, Bloodline isn't particularly well acted and nor is it particularly interesting, with a central premise revolving around an semi-infected man obsessed with the protagonist that feels unnecessary.
It might have been somewhat dismissible as a zombie spoof movie, but considering this is a serious effort on behalf of the undead, it truly needs burying and forgetting about. No resurrections here.
