10 Worst Horror Movies Of 2018
2. The Possession Of Hannah Grace
From the title alone, you can guess that this film is pretty tired. Films like The Possession of Michael King, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and The Exorcism of Molly Hartley prove that stringing together the supernatural heart of the film along with a bland name isn't always a recipe for success - with at least two of those three falling to the wayside when it comes to quality properties, and all three of them failing the originality test when it comes to names.
In any case, there's been enough of these titles floating around now that seeing this one all but seals its fate as probably a bit sh*t. And upon watching, that assumption is proved correct.
Your basic formula exorcism movie that's still living off the shock value of contorting bodies and a possessed person wreaking havoc, the only difference here is that Hannah Grace has already died and been damned by the time we get to see her trash the morgue she's in. Other than that, it's just simple supernatural happenings wrapped up in a murky, frustrating to watch package. We've seen it all before.
