10 Worst Live-Action Superhero Fights In Cinema History
3. Superman Vs. Nuclear Man - Superman IV: The Quest For Peace
Possibly the most unfair way for Christopher Reeve to say goodbye to the iconic underoos-over-tights, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace was by no small margin the worst of Reeve's turn as the Man of Steel.
The movie was difficult to swallow for fans of the previous three Superman movies, but the final fight scene between Superman and his sort-of clone, Nuclear Man, is the crowning jewel in this absolute stinking pile of Kryptonian waste.
Nuclear Man, having previously managed to infect Superman with radiation poisoning (by scratching him, no less), squares off with the miraculously healed Superman on the Moon. Driving him deep into the surface in apparent victory, Nuclear Man then kidnaps the new editor the Daily Planet, causing Superman to re-emerge from the Moon's surface and save the day.
Not only is the story bizarre and so cheesy that many fans can't actually watch it, but it's so poorly executed in terms of acting, special effects and set design that it did nothing more than make its audience laugh.
Superman IV is considered one of the worst films of all time, and for good reason.
