10 Worst Live-Action Superhero Fights In Cinema History

2. Catwoman Vs. Laurel Hedare - Catwoman

Superman 4
Warner Bros.

Another markedly awful comic book adaptation, 2004's Catwoman almost set feminism back a few decades while simultaneously offering nothing by way of actual entertainment.

Catwoman's issues are numerous and well-covered by the media, critics and fans, so there's no need to delve into what makes it such an awful experience, and instead let's take a look at the absolute sensory onslaught that is the film's climactic battle between Catwoman and Laurel Hedare.

Featuring truly abysmal dialogue, gratuitous sound effects, and set to an edgy hard rock song that drops in and out throughout the scene, the fight is almost entirely made up of bad acting, stunts that are genuinely laughable and confusing cinematography.

There's even a point at which the fight dissolves into an actual slap-fest between what should have been two strong and layered female characters.

Just to highlight a point, the moment that Catwoman turns the tables, after Laurel tells her it's "game over", we're gifted with the inexplicably bad one-liner, "It's over-time," before witnessing a gravity defying stunt, then watching with disinterest as the big bad trips and falls out of a window.
