10 Worst MCU Deleted Scenes EVER

3. Aaron Davis Calls Miles Morales - Spider-Man: Homecoming

In another example of a filmmaker smartly cutting a scene which tipped the balance a little too far, Spider-Man: Homecoming originally featured an extended sequence with criminal Aaron Davis (Donald Glover) still webbed to his car and waiting for Spidey's (Tom Holland) tensile webbing to dissolve.

At first glance it seems like a relatively innocuous gag scene as Aaron attempts to free himself, but what confirms its exclusion as sensible is when Aaron makes a phone call to "Miles" - as in, Miles Morales - to tell him he won't be able to meet him.

Ultimately it just feels redundant, obvious, and pandering given that the original interrogation scene already had Aaron mention that he has a nephew.

Actually namedropping Miles is a step too blatant, especially without the MCU having any concrete plans to introduce the character yet.
