There were significant improvements made in Jurassic World's CGI between its early trailers, with a Superbowl spot appearing almost unrecognisable compared to the more widely-distributed full-length teaser a few months later. One of the scenes that got a major facelift was the Mosasaurus's Seaworld-esque stunt show, leaping to eat a shark. It's undeniably impressive in the film, too, especially because it takes the familiar context of a killer whale or dolphin show and makes it all prehistoric. Less impressive is when the performance then shifts gears and the audience's seats begin to travel downwards as if on an elevator, to check out what the Mosasaurus looks like underwater. Computer graphics have always struggled with making water look real. Part of why it took so long for Finding Nemo to get made is because Pixar struggled with the look of running water, of how light works beneath the waves, particles of stuff, and movement of creatures that life in it. The Mosasaurus scene doesn't quite manage to pull it off as well at all.
