10 Worst Moments Of CGI In Jurassic World

6. STAMPEDE!

The Gallimimus stampede in Jurassic World, as seen in the trailer and watched in the film by a group of park visitors in a van, was filmed at Kualoa Ranch, which is situated just a few hundred yards from where the stampede scene from the original Jurassic Park was filmed. How about that for a coinky-dink? That was a mistake, however. As with many of the bad bits of Jurassic World, so closely modelling them on classic Jurassic Park scenes just means they suffer even more by comparison. The stampede is again, admittedly, one of the few bits of the original film that has dated a little, thanks to its CGI being of the year 1993 (or probably more 1992). What's Jurassic World's excuse? It's been over twenty years, and there's still not a whole lot to differentiate between that old Gallimimus stampede to the new one. Again, despite filming it on location the dinosaurs are so clearly grafted onto the scene in post, have no presence in the landscape, and there's absolutely no chance of threat from them.
